DESCRIPTION:Τις μεγάλες ανακατατάξεις και ανατροπές που έχει φέρει στον χώρο της ενέργειας ο πόλεμος στην Ουκρανία\, καθώς και την αλληλεπίδρασή τους με την γεωπολιτική\, θα αναλύσει το 5o Forum του ΙΕΝΕ «Ενέργεια και Γεωπολιτική» (5th Energy and Geopolitics Forum)\,  που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 21 Μαρτίου\, στην Αθήνα με τη συμμετοχή διακεκριμένων ομιλητών από τον χώρο της ενέργειας\, των διεθνών σχέσεων\, της πολιτικής\, της δημοσιογραφίας αλλά και την ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα. \nΜετά την εισβολή της Ρωσίας στην Ουκρανία\, οι κυρώσεις της Δύσης κατά της Μόσχας και η απόφαση της ΕΕ για απεξάρτηση από τους ρωσικού υδρογονάνθρακες προκάλεσαν δομικές αλλαγές στην αγορά ενέργειας της Ευρώπης\, με το LNG να αναδεικνύεται σε στρατηγικό γι’ αυτήν καύσιμο. Επιπλέον\, οι τιμές του φυσικού αερίου\, που βρίσκονταν ήδη σε υψηλά επίπεδα από το καλοκαίρι του 2021\, εκτοξεύθηκαν ακόμη περισσότερο\, συμπαρασύροντας το γενικότερο ενεργειακό κόστος και\, συνεπώς\, τον πληθωρισμό στην Ευρώπη σε ύψη που δεν είχαν παρατηρηθεί για δεκαετίες. Μπροστά στις δύσκολες αυτές περιστάσεις\, οι χώρες της Ευρώπης κατέφυγαν σε μία σειρά μέτρων στήριξης των καταναλωτών\, που συνολικά έχουν στοιχίσει 800 δις ευρώ\, επιδεινώνοντας το δημοσιονομικό τοπίο. Παράλληλα\, συχνά είναι τα φαινόμενα κοινωνικών αναταράξεων αλλά και πολιτικών κραδασμών\, που έχουν ήδη οδηγήσει σε ανατροπές αρκετών ευρωπαϊκών κυβερνήσεων\, μολονότι οι αρχικές προβλέψεις ήταν ακόμη πιο δυσοίωνες. \nΟι αλλαγές δεν αφορούν\, ωστόσο\, μόνο τη Γηραιά Ήπειρο αλλά και συνολικά τον πλανήτη. Έτσι\, παρατηρείται αναδιάταξη συμμαχιών και αντισυσπειρώσεων\, με τις ΗΠΑ να αντιπαρατίθενται με την Κίνα\, η οποία στοιχίζεται με τη Ρωσία. Από τη μεριά της τελευταίας\, οι κυρώσεις της Δύσης εναντίον της\, η προσπάθεια της ΕΕ να απομακρυνθεί από το ρωσικό αέριο και πετρέλαιο\, αλλά και έκτακτα γεγονότα\, όπως η ανατίναξη των υποθαλάσσιων αγωγών Nord Stream στη Βόρεια Θάλασσα\, την οδηγούν να αναζητήσει εμπορικές διεξόδους για τους ενεργειακούς της πόρους σε άλλες κατευθύνσεις. Αυτές δεν περιλαμβάνουν μόνο την Κίνα\, αλλά και αγορές στην υπόλοιπη Ασία και την Αφρική\, με συνέπεια\, πλέον\, η παλαιά διαίρεση Ανατολής – Δύσης να παίρνει τη μορφή αντιπαράθεσης Παγκόσμιου Βορρά και Παγκόσμιου Νότου\, με τη Μόσχα να επιχειρεί να προσεταιριστεί τον τελευταίο. Τέλος\, αξιοσημείωτη είναι η σύμπλευση των χωρών του OPEC\, όπου προεξάρχει η Σαουδική Αραβία\, με την Ρωσία\, μέσω του σχήματος OPEC+\, παρά την προσπάθεια διατήρησης ισορροπιών και προς τις χώρες της Δύσης. \n  \nΟμιλητές
