The competent Services of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, in continuation of the Preliminary Environmental Assessment and Evaluation, produced a positive opinion about the construction and operation of the Greek section of the Gas Interconnector Greece \u2013 Bulgaria and its Auxiliary Facilities, i.e. a Metering Station that will be constructed in the region of Komotini and a Valve Station at the site of \u201cNymfaia\u201d.<\/p>\n

This<\/b> positive<\/b> opinion<\/b><\/a> is a significant step in the procedure of Environmental Assessment and Evaluation which started with the submission of the Preliminary Study of Environmental Impacts to the Services of the competent Ministry and shall be concluded with the submission and approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment Study.<\/p>\n
