The company was given the Bronze Award and at the same time the Best Progress Bronze Award as special distinction for the significant progress shown from its participation in 2011 in the index up to 2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Award Ceremony was held on Monday 20 May and the award was given to Mr. Evangelos Kosmas, the Director of Corporate &amp; Regulatory Activities of DEPA, who stated: \u201cWe are extremely happy for today\u2019s distinction as our strategic choice to operate with transparency and our efforts to be assessed by an independent body are acknowledged. Despite the adverse socioeconomic conditions we continue to invest on and implement good practices aiming at achieving sustainability and we are committed to continue our responsible operation for the benefit of all \u2013 employees, market, society and environment\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEPA was awarded a double distinction in the CR Index 2012 (National Index of Corporate Social Responsibility) as recognition of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
