Thessaloniki can utilize the multiple benefits of FISIKON in car driving.<\/p>\n

The introduction of gas powered vehicles in the city\u2019s daily life was signaled by the inauguration of the first FISIKON<\/strong> fueling station, held today at Pylaia Thessaloniki in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Mr. Asimakis Papageorgiou, the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia, Mr. Apostolos Tzitzikostas, and the Mayor of Pylaia, Mr. Ignatios Kaitezidis.<\/p>\n

The participants in the event held at a central hotel about the compressed natural gas, FISIKON<\/strong>, had the opportunity to be informed about the multiple benefits of natural gas as motor fuel and DEPA\u2019s business plan, currently implemented, for the development of the Greek market of gas used as fuel.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Mr. Asimakis Papageorgiou, in his address, stated that the inauguration of the first natural gas fueling station in Thessaloniki is an additional step in the consolidation progress of gas used as motor fuel in our country.<\/p>\n

He characteristically stated: \u201cDEPA, always a pioneer in technological applications, expands the range of using natural gas and successfully introduces a viable and feasible alternative proposal compared to conventional fuels in the lives and streets of Greek citizens. Technology that, nota bene, is already mature, safe and globally used at a big scale.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. H. Sahinis, DEPA\u2019s President and CEO, stressed the company\u2019s commitment to implement the development plan of the fueling stations, announcing at the same time the commencement of procedures for the operation of one more fueling station in Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n

FISIKON\u2019s<\/strong> presence in the city streets shall offer Thessaloniki drivers the possibility to choose a fuel with unique characteristics. Natural gas is more economical<\/strong> compared to the other conventional fuels; safe; and is considered the most environmental<\/strong> friendly fuel, given the decreased emissions of particles and carbon dioxide. It can, thus, decisively contribute to a cleaner environment, especially concerning the atmosphere of urban centers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
