DEPA Commercial completed successfully, on Monday, August 3rd, 2026, the supply of 500 GWh of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Bulgartransgaz at the Alexandroupolis Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU).<\/p>\n

This supply follows DEPA Commercial\u2019s successful participation in the international LNG supply tender conducted by Bulgartransgaz on April 30th, 2026, through the Balkan Gas Hub, where the company was selected as the preferred supplier after submitting the most competitive offer.<\/p>\n

With the delivery of the LNG cargo, DEPA Commercial successfully completed the entire process it had coordinated, from securing a reliable and competitive LNG supply source to the operational management and coordination of all required procedures for the safe delivery of the cargo to the FSRU Alexandroupolis.<\/p>\n

This delivery represents a significant milestone for Bulgartransgaz, as it marks the first time that Bulgaria\u2019s Gas Transmission System Operator (TSO)<\/strong> has utilized liquefied natural gas (LNG) to meet the operational requirements of the country’s natural gas transmission system.<\/p>\n

The successful completion of this supply once again confirms DEPA Commercial\u2019s strategic role in the natural gas markets of Southeast Europe and highlights the company’s critical contribution as a reliable natural gas supplier, delivering high added value to its partners while strengthening the wider regional energy market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
