The board includes new members and the renewal of Mr. <strong>Konstantinos Xifaras\u2019<\/strong> term as CEO for another five years. Mr. <strong>Antonis Diamataris<\/strong> has assumed the role of Board President, succeeding Mr<strong>. Ioannis Papadopoulos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The new president is one of the most prominent members of the Greek diaspora in the United States. He emigrated as a young adult to study economics. Since 1979, he has been the owner of Ethnikos Kyrix (The National Herald) in New York, while also engaging in real estate activities in the city, where he served as a board member of Interbank. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Acropolis Museum.<\/p>\n<p>The new Board of Directors of DEPA Commerce includes the following members: <strong>Iordanis Prokopidis<\/strong> \u2013 Vice President, <strong>Vasiliki Iliopoulou<\/strong> \u2013 Member, <strong>Despoina Kalliouri<\/strong> \u2013 Member, <strong>Pavlos Kamaras<\/strong> \u2013 Member, <strong>Evangelos Kosmas<\/strong> \u2013 Member, DEPA Employee Representative, <strong>Marika Lamprou<\/strong> \u2013 Member, <strong>Dimitris Manolis<\/strong> \u2013 Member, DEPA Employee Representative, <strong>Dimitris Skalaios<\/strong> \u2013 Member, <strong>Nikolaos Tsafos<\/strong> \u2013 Member.<\/p>\n<p>The Board aims to strengthen the strategic direction adopted by DEPA Commerce&#8217;s leadership since 2019, focusing on energy security, supporting the green transition, and expanding the company\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n<p>Statement from CEO Mr. Konstantinos Xifaras:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe renewal of my tenure at DEPA Commerce is a meaningful acknowledgment of the collective work we have achieved as a leadership team in recent years. DEPA Commerce has played a crucial role in ensuring the country\u2019s energy security by implementing strategic projects that guarantee a reliable energy supply while continuously expanding its activities as a fully integrated energy company. I welcome Mr. Antonis Diamataris as the new Board President and look forward to a productive collaboration.
