Xifaras, at the international conference on the country&#8217;s reconstruction, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the European Investment Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Xifaras highlighted that the reconstruction of Ukraine is not only a moral obligation but also a complex equation requiring international cooperation and coordination. A pivotal factor in this effort is energy independence, which can only be achieved through the diversification of the country\u2019s supply sources and routes.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAchieving energy independence is not merely a matter of economic stability but a prerequisite for ensuring national security and sovereignty, prosperity, and democracy,\u201d the CEO of DEPA underlined.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>DEPA, Mr. Xifaras noted, is ready to contribute to addressing these challenges through its participation in strategic infrastructure projects such as the IGB pipeline and the Alexandroupolis LNG Terminal:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThese infrastructures, supported by the reactivation of the Trans Balkan Pipeline (TBP), can form the backbone of the Vertical Corridor, transporting natural gas from South to North. This would benefit not only Ukraine but the entire region, opening new pathways for regional cooperation and energy security,\u201d he concluded.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<style
