DEPA Commercial is reinforcing its liquefied natural gas (LNG) distribution network with the supply of three LNG Semi-trailers aiming to meet the needs of consumers in remote areas and to make LNG available on the market as a fuel for marine and road transport.<\/p>\n
The LNG Semi-trailers, – two of which were acquired with co-funding from the European development programme Connecting Europe under the “SuperGreen” action – suitable for accommodating LNG cargo transportation needs, will supply ships using LNG as a fuel, vehicle fuelling stations and remote industrial consumers.<\/p>\n
By utilizing the cutting-edge Small Scale LNG technology, DEPA Commercial is essentially expanding the natural gas network within the country and increasing its further penetration into the country’s energy mix as a transitional fuel.<\/p>\n
The development of technologies such as Small Scale LNG is part of DEPA Commercial’s business plan, which envisages the use of LNG to supply large industrial customers and remote areas far from distribution networks, as well as expanding the use of LNG in shipping and road transport.<\/p>\n
The “SuperGreen” Action 2017-EL-TM-0048-W, in which DEPA COMMERCIAL is participating, received co-funding from the European Connecting Europe Programme, with the aim of implementing the EU policy for the development of alternative fuel infrastructure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
